Things you shouldn't say to your wife!

Here is a funny clip that I got from another blog. I just thought I'd share!

spoons

Last night was 'girls night out' for enrichment, and we had a lot of fun just hanging out. We had a 'my favorite things' party where you bring and share some of your favorite things with others. After that was over, we got out the cards and played spoons. It was hysterical and a ton of fun, but a bit dangerous at the same time. I came away bleeding and so did a couple other people. It's amazing when you bring out the spoons how people's competitive streak comes out. It was a great time and a well needed break for me!

I hate getting ready to move!

I now have the overwhelming task of getting ready to move. We are in a cramped apartment, so finding room for the boxes I've packed is not fun. I've started a pile in my front room, but it won't take long until it overruns that room. If only I could start taking the boxes over there and put them in the basement or garage. That would help me, but it's a no go. I am also trying to figure out what I can pack that we won't need in the next month. This is the real challenge. Either me or my kids use so much on a daily basis that it is hard to start eliminating stuff. The stuff that we have that we don't use all that much is already in boxes stored somewhere in the house. On top of everything else, I have 3 little helpers in everything I do. I love them, but packing and moving stuff is a whole lot easier without any help! I guess I still have a few weeks to mull over my things before I have to do some serious packing, followed closely by the inevitable unpacking. Moving is such a pain in the butt!

Time Change

Is anyone else having a problem with time change, or is it just me? Saturday night, I remembered it was time change, so I thought "great, I'll read for an extra hour." Well, what I didn't take into account is that my kids wouldn't sleep in any longer than normal. I've gotten up earlier than normal lately, my kids are crabbier than usual, and I can't seem to get my schedule straight! One good thing though, is that it is now 10:30, and I am wandering around thinking that I've already done so much that I can just sit and take a break now. I also keep thinking that it should be time to get to the bus. Hopefully we'll get back on our schedule soon because I don't know how long I can take my kids getting up so dang early!

I can't begin to describe how ecstatic I am about getting a new house. I'm even getting a washer and dryer there also. Today I was at the laundromat, and I was actually sad that I won't be going there anymore. It was convenient and inconvenient at the same time. It was a pain to have to load up my clothes, but it was nice to only think about laundry once a week or 10 days. I know - I'm quite weird, but I actually like the laundromat; but I am also looking forward to having a washer and dryer that is all mine!

Well, I just finished my marathon reading. I'm now done with all 3 of the Twilight books, and wanting more of the story. I throughly enjoyed every minute I was reading those - if you need a good book to read, you have to check these out. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out :) So today, I had to run to the store because I've been putting it off all week because all I wanted to do was sit down with my book. I told myself that I wouldn't pick them up again either until we were in our house, or we were driving up to Spokane to see Cami & Jason. I do want to read them again, but I'll have to get some other things done first so we can move!

OK, I just finished the second book in the Twilight series. I'm trying my hardest to not pick up the third until I've done some grocery shopping and tidying up in the house. I hope I can hold off that long - I really want to know what happens next! BTW, I was up until 4:30 this AM reading as there was never a good spot to stop the book. It was all too good!
